In a broken world, people are lost in a cave, and it is our job as christians to help them see in a new perspective by leading them out of the cave and showing them the love of Jesus. |

But Remember... Jesus came at a time when the Temple was still standing, when the Priesthood of Israel was still in effect, and when the sons of Aaron had charge over the sacrifices. The Cohanim Presented the Lambs for Sacrifice. So... shouldn’t there have been some connection, some recognition given by the priestly line. That the final and ultimate sacrifice had come? |

See what? Their belief! How do you see someones belief? Their transformed life. Even when you saw the regenerative work of the spirit in their life, you still did not believe. These people were transformed, not just convinced. |
Tue, 23 February 2021
God alone is the firm foundation upon which our faith, life, hope, joy, peace, and our salvation rests. To put faith in anything else is to trust in things that will fail. |
Wed, 17 February 2021
So to become great in God, you must become deep in God. strengthen your roots. Make it your priority to grow deeper in the hidden and secret places and your life will bear much fruit as it is written, "The root of the righteous . . . will bear fruit." Proverbs 12:12 |
Tue, 9 February 2021
Jesus entering the temple should be one of the most incredible moments of anyone’s life. The Messiah, the King of Kings has come into the holy place of God. This is where the people of God should be able to come into the presence of God. Here is the righteousness, glory, exact representation of God. This should be cause for celebration. |

It is an Interesting thing how subtle our loyalties and dependencies can shift. Just who it is we are asking or relying on to “Save Us”! To whom are we saying “Hosanna” too? |
Tue, 26 January 2021
Let us learn from this and seek to lay our agendas down daily that we might hear what the Lord has to say, including the warnings from God, and thus be better prepared for that which is in store; The blessings, and the sufferings. |
Wed, 20 January 2021
But what I like about this story is Bartimaeus had a need, he had limitations, but he did not hide behind or excuse them or even worse, condemn himself because of his condition. |
Wed, 13 January 2021
They’ve Heard this before…, it's not new… but the don’t really get it … so they just set it on the back burner…. they focus on the things they want to and like. You know what happens when this happens? “SELF-tianity”! |
Tue, 5 January 2021
We are going to take time to ask the Holy Spirit for revelation on the present as we reflect on the past and look to the future. |
Tue, 5 January 2021
God alone brings about this grace...we have no hand in the creation or completion of God’s grace. Planned from all ages, begun, message sustained by prophets, sovereignly guided, manifested, carried out, completed, and delivered by God. |
Wed, 30 December 2020
I have found that if I apply this principle more, I get upset less. I am a child of God, loved as the prodigal, and I am also in humble servitude for all that He has done. |
Tue, 22 December 2020
Destruction does not negate the Builder… in fact the contrast illumines Him all the more. Our sin, our choices cost Him pain and suffering too. The only reason there is a Christmas is because we are Sinners… that need a Savior. |
Tue, 15 December 2020
Christmas and the Cross are a display of God’s love and the way He deals with sin. God and Humanity have always differed in the way they deal with sin right from the Garden of Eden. The incarnation (birth) life and death of Jesus is God’s plan to deal with sin. |
Tue, 8 December 2020
I hope that Christmas this year would matter more than ever. I hope every week is another week for you to embrace the coming of Christ and the love, forgiveness, help that he offers. I hope that from the darkness of the 2020, the light of Christ would re-emerge in the church. |
Tue, 1 December 2020
Before we start planning our 2021, let’s first plan our lives. Who are you gonna meet with this year? What small group will know your name and your struggles? Let's use the acronym S.A.F.E. to stay safe by being closer to God this upcoming year! |
Tue, 24 November 2020
This man sadly only heard the words “give up” but not “and follow Me”. Jesus was not speaking about people who have riches, but riches that have people. If you don’t have God ...you’ll find one! |
Thu, 19 November 2020
This is a topic that is very difficult, divorce is painful! God hates divorce because He sees all the pain it causes. Divorce itself is not a sin, but to divorce a spouse wantingly and willingly does become sin. |
Tue, 10 November 2020
Jesus is saying, deal violently and directly with any part of your being… Your hobbies, activities, schedule, location, or whatever makes you stumble, cut it out, tear it out, throw it away from you! |
Tue, 3 November 2020
Something I’ve noticed... Christians have no problem talking about being a servant until they are treated like one. |
Tue, 27 October 2020
This message is to look at the Ecclesial Church authority and civic authority and to help you to know how to abide in Christ and the State governing authorities to better equip us as we move forward. |
Tue, 20 October 2020
Where the disciples may have failed, may in fact be the same place we all fail. The boys father did not see his desire for he went to the wrong people. The disciples did not see God's work, for they thought they could serve for God. We are merely the messengers, the conduit to a great and amazing miracle working God! |
Wed, 14 October 2020
Peter and the disciples are given a glimpse into the glory of Christ. Though there is ultimate glory to be had in eternity, God’s plan for glory on earth brings us through suffering. Jesus is our example of suffering well and trusting in the glory to come. |
Tue, 6 October 2020
People had many false ideas about the concept of the “Messiah”. Many believed he would be a political, nationalistic figure; coming to free the Jews from the Romans. But of course, God had a much bigger plan and broader deliverance! |
Tue, 29 September 2020
From now on, the underlying deeper questions Mark is leading us to is: What kind of Messiah is He, and what does it mean to follow Him? |
Tue, 22 September 2020
Like this man, we all were once blind spiritually, blinded by satan, blinded by sin, but when you honestly came to Jesus, a miracle began to happen! |
Tue, 15 September 2020
They reject this Messiah BECAUSE He included the gentiles into the plan. It infuriated them, offended them, that he calls tax collectors, dined with adulterers, befriended sinners, pursued demoniac, touched the unclean, raised the dead, called the lowly, surrounded himself with the sick, spoke with women, etc. |
Tue, 1 September 2020
“I have compassion on the crowd” Theses are some of the most tender words from Jesus' lips. He is giving the disciples a glimpse into His heart. Those who put Jesus first were recipients of His compassion. |
Tue, 25 August 2020
Do we see the need in others and feel such compassion for them that we are compelled to bring them to Jesus. He’s the only one who can heal all things. Pride is one of the most dangerous sins, humility brings the grace of God. |
Tue, 18 August 2020
At this point Jesus is testing if she is mimicking or truly believing. She knew the “lingo” … but, did she know the man? She imitated the “religion”… but failed miserably, until she got real and came in brokenness and emptiness before Jesus. |
Tue, 11 August 2020
You see, The Lord Wants Both... Righteous Actions Done by a Righteous Heart. How is the heart cleansed, the Word! How do we keep from the sin of Traditionalism? Standing on the Word of God alone! |
Tue, 4 August 2020
But God is not about the ways and plans of humanity... So notice, while He was sending the multitude away, His objective in this was to put an end to the misdirected exhilaration of their ideas... and an idea the disciples themselves may have been somewhat drawn to. How often God has to protect us from ourselves? |
Tue, 28 July 2020
We ask the Same Question of God all the time, “What good would that do”? The key to changing our world is found right here! Give what you got! You got skills, bring em! Each one reach one! One day, one person, at a time. |
Tue, 21 July 2020
We should be able to rightly identify sin in our own lives and others and if we love our fellow believers, we bring their attention to their sin. If they love us they should do the same. As believers we are to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. |

So, too, as we develop a closeness with Jesus, let us never forget that because He is God, He deserves our utmost respect and devotion, submission and reverence. He has the right to our time, money, abilities, energy, life, and heart as God, Jesus has the right to all we are. |

Being a synagogue official he had money and position, but NONE OF THAT meant anything to him at this moment! It's funny how so many objections go out the window when we see hardships in life. |
Sun, 7 June 2020
We seem to get this idea of Satan running amuck down here, and God is helpless guess who in fact, is giving Satan permission to destroy... we are, and God, by his love for us, is giving us that choice for love is not love without choice. |

Mark here has really given his readers a powerful proclamation. It can’t just be brushed aside! Who Alone but God has such Power and Compassion? |
Sun, 24 May 2020
As we recently were reminded, Jesus style was to speak through parables which He Adapted to “Their Levels” of Understanding… I love that… farmers, fishermen, scribes… and the same is true today. |
Sun, 17 May 2020
Today we’ll be in Mark 4:21-25. Let’s lean in to see how Jesus uses 3 key things to give us greater understanding of his Word spoken in the parable of the 4 soils and continuing into verses 21-25; And these 3 keys apply universally to understanding God’s Word. |
Sun, 10 May 2020
God's got you mom! In the time of her trouble, trial, and difficulty, she gave what she could to someone else… we can see why the Lord chose this widow in 1 Kings 17. |
Sun, 3 May 2020
What is a Parable? Simply, it’s a little story with a big message. They were simple; yet deep. |
Sun, 26 April 2020
Jesus says your logic is flawed. You’ve judged me solely from other people’s representation rather than who I revealed myself to be. Do you think I’m too small to right every wrong and use every hurt for good if I spoke the universe into existence? How do you expect to know my plans if my ways are infinitely higher than yours? |
Sun, 19 April 2020
Jesus summons those whom He Himself wanted… Jesus does not call these men out of some disinterested obligation of duty. He calls them because He wants them, He chooses them out of His own love for them. |

When did Jesus die? On any Special Day? And when was He in the Tomb? So then, when what day did He rise? |

The people thought the Parade Was “Political” but the Angels knew it was Prophetical...all these things happened coinciding together to fulfill God's plan. |

Sun, 1 March 2020
Those who risk vulnerability find Jesus. Jesus saw Zaccheus for who he was and was able to call him out of the tree. In the gospel, we take all our struggles and sins to the tree and Christ takes our place there. |

The Lord speaks much when we take the time to spend time with him. Why should we make time for the all-powerful, all-knowing, faithful, grace-filled King of the Universe who stepped down from heaven to pay the penalty of our sins? Think that answers the question. |
Sun, 26 January 2020
Fear is a feeling, Faith is an action. It's all about knowing who your King is. It is not about what God and his people did, but what God and his people do. |

Each of the gospels was written for a particular audience with a particular goal in mind. They are not biographical accounts. Mark is writing to the Romans and uses language they culturally understand: son of god and freedmen. |
Sun, 20 October 2019
Mark's story is full of failures, shame, rejection, and second chances. But his story was redeemed, not just by God, but by Barnabus -- an encourager. We all need a Barnabus in our life. |

1 Corinthians 10:13 tells us that because the Lord is faithful, we will not be tempted beyond what we are able. How often it gets misconstrued to "God won't give you more than you can handle." It would better be stated as "Whatever God brings you to, He will bring you through." |

A summary of the 16 weeks we spent studying the book of Malachi can be wrapped up in 4 simple words: God has loved you! |
Tue, 27 August 2019
Malachi 4 is God’s Loving Warning that a day is coming when God will judge sin. “For behold, the day is coming…” Is referring to the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, not in peace, but to judge and wage war on sin. The Bible has spoken of “This Day” in many books like Isaiah, Revelation and 2nd Peter. Why would God warn us? BECAUSE HE LOVES US! In Christ, we are no longer under the coming judgement of sin, but as Malachi 4:2 says, “But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.” That’s how much GOD LOVES US! Out of His Great Love, we are warned, now share with others, Hope & Salvation are found only in Jesus Christ! |

Earthly fathers are going to fail (there are even examples within the Bible), but we must set our sight on the Heavenly Father as our role model. |
Sun, 16 June 2019
How do we, the church, win the battle over evil? We must submit ourselves to God, take captive every thought, and fill our minds with His Word-- the battle ground is in our mind. |
Thu, 6 June 2019
We rob God when we come forth with an insincere heart. As a result, we are robbed of God's presence and thus his blessings. |
