Caleb obeyed God fully but COULD NOT drive out the Jebusites from his inheritance. The tribe of Ephraim, on the other hand, DID NOT drive out the Canaanites from their land. Big difference! Is the "thorn in your side" a "Jebusite" to endure, or a "Canaanite" to drive out?

God gave Jericho to the Israelites. The walls of Jericho fell by their faith in the Lord. It was a "crazy" plan that didn't make sense, but they moved forward, remained silent, and kept the Ark in the center. The battle belongs to the Lord!
