Where the disciples may have failed, may in fact be the same place we all fail. The boys father did not see his desire for he went to the wrong people. The disciples did not see God's work, for they thought they could serve for God. We are merely the messengers, the conduit to a great and amazing miracle working God!

People had many false ideas about the concept of the “Messiah”. Many believed he would be a political, nationalistic figure; coming to free the Jews from the Romans. But of course, God had a much bigger plan and broader deliverance!
